Mangalore : The Mangalore Special Police of Forest Mobile Squad nabbed Chamaraj (55) for having the nails and teeth of tigers in his possession.

after getting a tip that he had in his possession nails and teeth of tigers.

According to a squad, Chamaraj was arrested at KSRTC bus stand in Bejai and 14 tiger nails and 3 tiger teeth were seized from him.

Under the guidance of Narayan Gowda, the IGP of the Bangalore Special Forest Squad, and A. R. Anevekar, the SP of Madikeri Special Forest Squad, the team comprising of PSI Manjunath Shenoy and staff members Umesh Hosolike, Sitaram, Ashok Shetty, Paparam, Chandrashekar, and Harshachandra Gowda have investigated this case.

A case has been registered against Chamaraj under the Wildlife Conservation Act at Urwa Police Station.
