Subrahmanya: Stolen money was returned here to the temple executive officer H.M.Kali, in currency notes, through Museum supervisor, by a thief who had robbed God Kukke Subrahmanya earlier, as on Aug.16 in 2 envelops, while seeking punishment for his crime from the Deity. He vowed never to steal again.
He sent 29 currency notes in the first envelope and 12 more on Wednesday, to supplement. The repentant thief is T.G.Raju of Tumkur. The stolen currency notes were rare and costly, taken from the Temple museum. A case had been registered at the local police station on the event.
