Mangalore : Speaking on the Mining, Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda on his visit to Mangalore Airport on August 20, Saturday, said that during my leadership in the state, there will be no hidden decision taken and I will not work to protect any of the representatives who are found guilty and all the result will be transparent.

He also said that If the ministers are found to be involved in the mining scam, they will be surely punished. When the media representatives asked about the Matha Chemicals and Matha minerals which came in report, Minister said that all the names of ministers and minerals will be revealed very soon and straight dealing will be done until I rule the state.

The interim report submitted by the Lokayukta is not required, since the final report has been given and it will include even the interim report, he said.

Speaking on the CEC report, he said that on Tuesday at 3 pm, chief secretary and principal secretary along with other representatives will be called to discuss at the meeting. The decision will be not done in urgent and move forward. This will be only decided on the study based on Supreme Court judgment. 

Further CM Gowda will be move to his home Town Udupi and 21st Aug. evening he will leave back to Bangalore. On Monday he will visit Alamatti, Bijapur and Belgaum and hold a meeting with the Deputy Commissioner and other representatives of 20 other department and discuss on the development as soon as possible.

When the reporters asked about the hike in electricity and milk price, he said that electricuity charge will be increased but it will be done after finding out the other expenditure to buy the power supply. But the KREC is a different board and Government cannot interfere in the matter, but government will decide after seeing their hike.

He also said that he has completed his district tour and had assured to meet the congress minister, but failed to gather them, hence he will try this time, he said.

Speaking about Yeddyurappa’s statement to be back in 6 months, he said that he is the only person to clear them about his statement.

Speaking about corruption, he said that this starts when the work of a person is not done, hence he will hold a video conference in which he will contact the DC’s and tashildars and discuss in a week.
