New Delhi : Lal Krishna Advani, the ageing BJP leader and former Dy. PM, has thanked N. Santhosh Hegde for withdrawing his sudden resignation on Advani’s request, and wanted the BJP in state to take full care of his demands and concerns against corruption in the state. Hegde had quit on June 23 and kept the state BJP govt on some tenterhooks till July 3, a period of 10 days, to announce his own co-operation with the govt to complete his full term, an year hence. Advance expressed his gratitude mutely on a blogs in Delhi.
Hegde was frustrated with CM and his companions for denying him “suo-motu” powers against corrupt officials and others. He is being given 50% of powers to hunt corrupt bureaucrats only. Advani has recalled his association with K.S.Hegde, father of N.S.Hegde in the blog. This connection made all the difference in pulling back the Lokayukta’s resignation letters.
