Hyderabad: B.V.Srinivasa Reddy, MD of Obulapuram Mining Company(OMC) now under CBI custody in chanchalguda jail, was taken from Hyderabad to Bellary across borders in Karnataka, to answer questions on the huge catch of Rs.4.90 crores from an impounded truck in Anantpur district. Two persons were arrested on Thursday with the cash transfer but the money belonged to Srinivasa Reddy as indicated by the persons.
B.V. Srinivasa Reddy was lodged by CBI on Saturday at Pramadevanahalli police station, and was expected to be taken to Axis Bank and other Bank branches to check his accounts, as regular cash flows had taken place earlier. B.V. Srinivasa Reddy and brother-in-law, Gali Janardhana Reddy, were lodged in Hyderabad jail, after arrest from Bellary on September 5.
CBI is conducting serious on illegal wealth from iron ore mining, carried on by the Reddys group members for years.
