Mangalore: Mangalore Motor Sport Association organised a motor sport event, Maruthi Suzuki Autocross for 2-wheelers and 4-wheelers at Kuloor on October 16, Sunday.

Large number of participants took part in the final race on a 1km dirt track.

The participants from Mysore, Chickmagalur, Bangalore, Moodigere, Shimoga, Coorg, and Hassan participated in the event.

The participants such as Baban Khan of Bangalore, Aroor Vikram Rao, Moodigere top team, Aroor Arjun Rao, and others participated in 4 wheeler event and  Siddharth Nayak, Sudeepan, Mohammed Adnan, and Shruptha Padival in the 2-wheeler event.

K and N Filter, Castrol, JK Tyres, Mandovi Motors, and IMG Sports were the co-sponsors of the event.

A. Sanjay Rao, the organizer; Yathish Baikampady, the president of Mangalore Motor Sports Association; and Sudhir B. K., the director of Mandovi Motors, were also present.
