Mangalore : Vijaya Bank Mangalore celebrated its 81st Founders Day with a special function held in the regional office on Oct 23, Sunday.

As a corporate social responsibility, the Computer Training Center for under privileged was established at Vijaya Tower, L.H.H. Road, Mangalore.  The duration of the training is 3 months and it is free of cost.

Two numbers of bus shelters constructed for public convenience at Kaikamba-Polali Cross and Dhanupuje (tenkabellur village). 

Rural Health Center opened at Dhanupuje (tenkabellur village). Free of cost services of the health center will be given.
 
Adopted one rural girl child of tenkabellur village.  Bank will taken care of her education and other requirements till her graduation.

MLA Yogesh Bhat, ZP CEO Dr. K. N. Vijaya Prakash, Ex MP and Director of Vijaya Bank Shri B. Ibrahim, and Deputy General Manager of Vijaya Bank Sudhakar Shetty, along with a number of guests, well-wishers, and staff members of the bank, participated in the event.
