Dubai: The Arabian Gulf Karnataka Forum at Dubai, hosted a dinner meeting for Ullal MLA, U.T. Khader(KPCC Secretary) at the local Praveen Shetty’s Fortune Plaza Hotel on  October 24(Monday)evening.

Karnataka NRI Forum founder, Herman Lewis Welcomed the young and dynamic Coastal guest and introduced him to a distinguished gathering, originally from west Coast.

Speaking at short notice to the fellow natives, Khader, son of late U.T. Fareed(4 times MLA), thanked his NRI hosts for their rich and hearty contributions to the coastal region of Karnataka, in a generous way so far. They brought great changes in living standards and education levels, building homes for the poor, and improving medical benefits to a whole community. Their charitable works are a legion, even by Government standards, he said.

Khader spoke of Dubai lovingly for its phenomenal speed in local development, in a spirit of NRI unity. He wanted an overseas electorate for local NRIs.

There was a question and answer session, and the MLA asked the kannadiga NRIs to write to him directly, on any issue. Herman agreed to put all their grievances in writing and hand it over to U.T. Khader. Shodhan Prasad thanked all.
