Mangalore: Prof. Sandeep Sancheti who is the director of National Institute of Technology in Karnataka(NITK)at Surathkal, with his term ending on November 17, 2011 is appointed as the new head of National Institute of Technology in New Delhi established by Central Government. He is an M.Sc.,  Ph. D., B.Tech.

He served in Jodhpur in MBM College and later in electronics and Communications engineering at Jaipur. He holds several awards and distinctions in a bright career. He has presented 75 papers at national and international conferences.

He is interested in research work on high frequency electronics, RF Circuits and systems, microwave antennas and semi-conductor device modeling.
