Mangalore; Ramesh G. Shriyan(54) was killed and Harish Chandra Bangera, another fisherman, was injured, when lightning strokes hit them on the coast of Hejmadi Kodi in Udupi on November 2, Wednesday, at 4PM when both were out fishing in sea in a country boat.

Shriyan was overturned into sea waves, and got drowned. Padubidri Police have registered the case.

Bangera is on medical treatment, while Shriyan’s body has not been recovered from the sea.
