Mangalore: Accidents happen by negligence and carelessness while driving on roads in a dazed condition.
Here on Thursday at 2Pm (in Bolangady) two bike-riders died on the spot when a goods Tempo from Mangalore rammed into their vehicle, coming on the wrong side of the road to bang head-on.
The bike-riders, Harish (a driver) and Uday(a cable operator) both from kalladka on way to B.C. Road, fell from their bike and were crushed by Tempo at a fatal moment in Bolangady.
The tempo driver had lost control of his vehicle and moved too much to the wrong side(right off the road from left side) and the tempo hit the bike and then on to a tree to came to a stand-still.
The guilty Tempo driver and cleaner of the Tempo(both from Reliance firm)absconded quickly. Bantwal SI Vivekananda came on the scene to clear the traffic a and register a case, with police of Bantwal station.
The dead persons wee going to a hall on B.C. Road to attend a wedding but fate willed otherwise.
