Mangalore : Chiguru’, a dance-cum-art exhibition of Neha B organized by the department of Kannada and culture and Dakshina Kannada district was held at Town Hall in the city on Nov 12, Saturday.

Speaking after inaugurating the event, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura president of DK Kannada Sahithya Parishath, said that

our society must encourage the young talent and the parents and teachers make a way to expose their talent.

Eminent artist Dayanand Bejai inaugurated an art exhibition displaying 25 of Neha’s painting

Neha, is a recipient District Rajyothsava award for the year 2010, Exceptional artist award by Women and child development department for 2011-12, ‘Kavya Shravya Natya Kuncha’ award  and Mallige Naguthava 2007 award.

She has been learning dance under Vidushi Sumangala Rathnakar who runs a school Natyaradhana from the age of 7.
