Malpe: A sand sculpture by the three artists with corporation Bank participation, was made at Malpe beach as part of world AIDS (prevention) Day organised by Health department in Udupi district.

Srinath M, Ravi H and Venki Palimar took six hours to finish their art surrounded by placards, with messages on protection from AIDS disease with safe sex methods. The Sand show increased the awareness of people facing a dirty and deadly disease, especially careless young persons.
