Mangalore : Senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary said that certain Sangh Parivar leaders at a recent rally objected Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence Bill stating it to be ‘Anti Hindu act, act of dividing hindus, no protection to hindus, draconian law and other.
Speaking at the press meet held at District Congres Office, he said that, but people of the district must think how far it is the truth said by leaders because according 2001 census, there are 80.5 % hindus, 13.4 % Muslims, 2.3 % Christians, 1.9% Sikhs, 0.8%Buddhism, 0.4 Jains and others Parsi are 0.6%, he said.
He also said that there are 18% Schedule Caste and 5% Schedule Tribe in Hindus. He said that the RSS are only present to raise confusion in the society.
He also said that bill has a complete law to prevent actions that might cause harm and injury to life of people just because they belong to a particular community; he said that such communities may be any linguistic in any state.
Speaking on Made snana ritual, he said that people who roll on left over meals of Brahmins will face the skin diseases and also have the chance of getting disease like Aids.
