Udupi: An unidentified group of people assassinated Banglegudde Suleiman near Palli Mahalingeshwara Temple at noon on Dec 10 Saturday.

Suleiman was wanted in connection with Candle Santu, Kabettu Hussain, and Polali Ananthu murder.

Suleiman who was recently been released on bail, had continued demanding hafta even after he was released on bail.

Sources said that six people, including a woman, arrived in a Maruti Omni and assaulted Suleiman with deadly weapons. The victim is said to have died on the spot.
