Moodabidre : The Alva’s College has won the Colaco memorial Rolling Shield in MU Inter-Collegiate women’s Ball Badminton championship for the fifth time defeating Ujire SDM College team by 29-03 and 29-02 in a tame affair. Ball badminton as a game has become outdated these days, with shuttlecock getting racy. The final game was played at Vidyagiri in Alva’s college premises.

The valedictory function had Principal Kurien in the chair, from Alva’s Degree College. MU Physical Education director, Dr. H. Nagalingappa, senior sportsman Ashok and Dr. Sukesh were main guests on the occasion.
