Hyderabad: The CBI has prepared a 15 pages chargesheet against a senior IAS officer Y.Srilakshmi (married to a top cap), in the Gali Janardhana Reddy illegal iron ore mining case, for helping him out of turn.
Y. Srilakshmi was in jail for 2 days before being bailed out, but she accused Home minister Ms. Indra Reddy of giving her orders. The CBI has to secure Central Government permission to prosecute Srilakshmi, IAS.
The CBI has made out a chargesheet against GJ Reddy on Dec 3 itself CBI is now ready for enquiry and communicated so to the Andra High court on Tuesday (Dec 13).
A copy of the chargesheet will be sent to Supreme Court by Dec 20, CBI informed. A verdict on bail-out will be issued on Dec 14 (Wednesday) about V.D. Rajgopal OMC director who is in jail, as his enquiry has been completed this week.
The verdict may also decide on G.J. Reddy’s future on a bail application made out earlier.
