Mangalore : The inaugural of Srinivas Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre and Srinivas Hospital will be held at Srinivas Nagar, Mukka, Surathkal, Mangalore on December 25, Sunday.

Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on December 22, Thursday Dr Sriram Aithal, executive director said that Srinivas Hospital is making a mark for its prompt and efficient services to the community and the public. He newly started Rural Health Centre at Lingappayya Kaadu near Mulky has already opened its doors to the rural poor. With the committed personnel to look after the needs of the poor and the elite alike, it is hoped that Srinivas Hospital will be a Centre of Excellence, always in pursuit of prompt, efficient and effective treatment with a humane touch.

Speaking about the official inauguration, he said that Chief Minister of Karanataka DV Sadananda Gowda will inaugurate the Hospital between 10 am and 12 pm in the presence of Shri Vishwesha Teerta Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt.

Udupi District in charge minister Dr V S Acharya, DK District in charge minister Krishna J Palemar, AICC general secretary Vinaya Kumar Sorake and renowned vice chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Dr Shriprakash will be the chief guest. M Narendra, Chairman of Indian Overseas Bank, Allen Ca Pereira Ex Chairman of Maharastra Bank, Narendra Singh Executive Director of Corporation Bank and Prof T C Shivashankar Murthy, vice chancellor of Mangalore University will be the guest of honour.
