Mangalore : DK district Zilla Panchayat former president Santhosh Kumar Bhandary, breadth his last due to cardiac arrest on Dec 24 Saturday.

The incident took place at Siddakatte, during the meeting held in to discuss the Kambala related issue that was held on Dec 18. He was taken to Fr. Muller Hospital in Mangalore and passed away at 11:30 p.m.

Reportedly it is said that Bhandary who was elected as president of the ZP in 2009 was suffering from chest pain from a few days.
