MumBai : The Morena MP and former Indian cricket captain – batsman Mohd Azharuddin is divorcing Sangeetha Bijalani, his second wife of 14 years, in  view of his romantic affair with Jwala Gutta, a national mixed doubles shuttle badminton player who had earlier married Chethan Anand and had other lovers in her game. The 26 year old Punjabi girl is now carrying on dates with 47 year old Azharuddin who has two grown up sons of around 22 from the first marriage that broke up in 1995. Azharuddin has a life – time ban on him  in cricket for match – fixing with South African ex-players.
Jwala received a BMW car from Azhar recently and she moves around Hyderabad in this vehicle. Both  appeared together in Delhi during the Asian Badminton Championships, where Saina Nehwal won singles (the first of her 3 conquests in Asia)
Jwala asked Azhar to compete for BAI elections as President, but he withdraw later on. Chethan has separated from Jwala after her mixed doubles triumphs. Chethan has won ‘Arjuna’ award for his games.
Azhar is a veteran of wedlock and divorce proceedings. He married Naureen who now lives in Saudi Arabia, re-married, after 8 years life with Azhar, to a Canadian businessman.
All three, Azhar, Chethan and Jwala are keeping media people away, until events solidify into new openings in their lives. Now it is all a fluid situation
