Mangalore: An Education awareness programme organised by Rahath Welfare Society, was held at Dakshina Kannada Urdu HP School in Ganjimutt this week, when over 400 students and their parents participated and benefited by proceedings.
Inaugurating the event, Khaleel Ahmed, President of Jamiyyatul Falah told the Muslim parents to send their children for higher education (post-graduate levels), so that the community produced more and more professionals in due course. He asked the elders to change their priorities as per situation, and utilize all government schemes more.
JCI National Trainer Mohd. Anwar, with his trainers, interacted with parents and students in different groups.
Ms. Lubna Zakeya spoke on Islamic values and parenting among ladies. Ms. Amreen Shaikh, a dictician, exchanged ideas on food habits.
Abdul Wahab, Fazlur Rahman, Suhail and Toufiq were present.
