Mangalore: An idol of Deyi Baiditi (native doctor), mother of twins Koti-Chennaya was installed here at Kankanady Brahma Baidarkala Garodi, for which religious rituals were  started on Monday Jan 2 here.

B.Janardhan Poojary presided over the public function. He stated that devotees with faith in deities they serve, succeed in lives, for which there were many examples. He raised the Garodi and its governing council for spectacular progress made by them, through inspiration of divine powers. He asked an idol of Kinnidare be installed at the Garodi next.

Haridas Salian dedicated the shrine of Deyi to the believers a plague on Koti-chennaya lives was unveiled, as also a Deyi Baiditi hall was opened on the occasion. B. Damodhar Nisarga welcomed guests.
