Mangalore: 600 students at capitanio Aided High School took out a rally against Tobacco and smoking on Thursday, raising slogans and showing placards against tobacco products which cause cancer in the long run.
The rally from Nagori passed Pumpwell and Karavali Circle before returning to school grounds. Manipal Life Skills organised the event. Its executive made a Welcome speech.
Moses Jayashekhar, DDPI, was present, along with Philomena Lobo, JDPI.
M. Neelakanta, SI, Rural Police, Kankanady spoke about safety measures in health and daily life. Rajesh proposed a vote of thanks, for creating awareness about Tobacco snares.
