Mangalore : Team Mangalore who had participated in various International Kite Festivals held in Canada, UK, France, Thailand, Korea and recently in Sri Lanka is back with its new creation ‘Pushpaka Vimana’ won praises from Sri Lankans.
This time the team will showcase the cultural heritage of India on the shores of the Arabian Gulf of Dubai.
The team will display variety of kites including Kathakkali, the largest kite in India and also various other kites such as Yakshagaana, Durga, Charlie, Owl, Gajaraja, Pushpaka Vimana, Bird, Bat Series, Bharathnatyam and others.
Previously team had participated in Udaipur International Kite Festival and won the first place in the Unique Design Kite category.
The team had earlier participated in the Kite festival at World Kannada Sammelana at Nanawadi, Belgaum last year and will also participate this year International kite Festival to be held at Belgaum.
The team will also organize 4th ONGC-MRPL International Kite Festival, 2012 on January 21 and 22 at Panambur Beach.
