Moodabidri: The 4-day booming cultural festival ‘Virasat’ at Alva’s College premises in Moodabidri has ended on Sunday. Although it is an annual event now, the variety that it dishes out enthralls audiences from several districts and states in India.
Thousands of Culturally fascinated families and youths had the measure of their taste in entertainment, provided by music in several aspects. The audiences burst into applauses whenever instruments stopped in fusion ensemble, as with Mahesh Vinayakram and party of Chennai.
The venue Shobha-vana becomes a paradise with inter-twining of singing with several instruments. Later M.D. Pallavi took the stage and sang poems of Bendre and other Kannada poets.
Singer Raghu Dixit came at 9PM. Upcoming cine playbacks gave a tickling sensation to young persons in the audience. The 20th edition of Virasat never had a dull moment in its variety.
