Mangalore: A new Tulu film based on a comedy of errors created originally by the English bard of Start for don-Aven in 1600 or hereabout, is likely to hit, coastal theatres and their screen with a Tulu name ‘Amait asal, Emait Khusal’ showing which way the wind is blowing, once you buy the cinema ticket. The veteran actor Navin D. Padeel is there with hero, Jyotish Shetty, and a bevy of Karavali beauties, to create ripples of laughter. Ranjan Raaghu Shetty has directed the picture with a screenplay form Surya Menon.
Both produce the film as partners. The story has two sets to twins to fool you on the screen two servants and two masters to harass you with separation at birth, having similar names.
They bumpinto each other years later, no longer childish, but confused with one another. It is said to be a wholesome family entertainer, which remains to be seen.
