Mangalore : Deputy Speaker N. Yogesh Bhat, inaugurated the new buildings of the ZP High School and Anganwadi Centre in Attavar on Jan 11 Wednesday.
President of the inauguration ceremony Dayanand Pai, hoisted the flag.
Speaking after the inaugural ceremony, Yogesh Bhat said that there is necessary to develop government schools on the basis of donations from kind-hearted people.
He urged large number of people to donate more fund required for the construction and renovation of government buildings. The school building must also be used to help people develop self-employment skills in the evenings.
Mohini Dayanand Pai, H. Rathindranath, the honorary president of the Chakrapani Seva Samithi; Hemavathi P. S., the headmistress of the primary school; Corporators Anil Kumar and H. Ravindranath; Gopalakrishna Kotian, the president of the Chakrapani Seva Samithi; Gangadhar, an officer of the Child Development Project; and Devaraj Acharya, the president of the school development and monitoring committee were present on the dais.
Radhakrishna Bhat, the headmaster of the high school, welcomed the gathering and Sucheta compered the programme.
