Mangalore : The youths from various states participated in the Carnatic music competition held as part of the National Youth Festival (NYF) in Devadiga Bhavan on Jan 13, Friday.

A total of 9 young people participated in the Carnatic vocal solo category, presenting the venue with melody, and captivating audience.

The large number of school children and some music lovers enjoyed the ragas of participants at the venue.

The Hindusthani vocal competition was conducted in the same venue in the afternoon and had a large number of participants making the competition stiff at the venue.
