Mangalore: Mangalore is pulsating with several festivals since December 2011 and now in January 2012, youths and children are being involved of late in various get-togethers planned for them.
A national level Bal Bharath(Young India) Srujanotsav (Festival of creativity) has commenced in Moodushedde on the outskirts of the city on Sunday, inaugurated by state minister for Children’s Welfare, C.C. Patel.
In his speech, Patil pointed to children who came all the way to Mangalore from across Indian cities and villages in groups from many states, with hidden talents to be exhibited at Pilikula Park.
They speak different languages and possess various cultures, but they are united as India’s future generations.
They are good at studies and sports as well, he stated.
