Udupi: The state Govt. has resorted to a large scale transfer of IAS/IPS and other officers on the eve of Republic day celebrations, in which shimoga DC also was removed.

In Udupi, DSP Dr. Y.S Ravikumar has not received his order of transfer, but has seen TV reports, and awaits the order on Friday, Jan.27. He is shifted to Dharwad as SP, after 10 months in Udupi.

Dr. G.M. Boralingaiah, IPS, working as ASP in Tiptur is sent to Udupi as SP in place of Sr. Ravikumar. He is from mandya and has an MBBS degree in medicine.
