Mangalore : The Dakshina Kannada District Congress Committee (DKDCC) paid homage to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his 64th death anniversary observed at Congress district office on Jan 30, Monday.

DKDCC member Suresh Ballal offered flowers to the portrait of Gandhiji.

Sadashiva Ullal, the spokesperson of the Congress party, urged young people to follow the life and values of Gandhi, adding that Gandhi’s pleasing personality has influenced people from all over the world.

Congress leaders former mayor Shashidhar Hegde, Moideen Bawa and T. K. Sudhir were also present.
