Lucknow : A total of 273 candidates filed their nominations for fourth phase of polling in Uttar Pradesh while 63 filed for the fifth phase today.
 
According to the state election office here, 273 candidates filed their nominations for the fourth phase in 56 assembly seats where polling will be held on February 19.

Now a total of 776 candidates have filed their nominations for phase four and February 1 is the last date for filing of nominations.

A total of 63 candidates filed their nominations for fifth phase where polling would be held on February 23. The last day for filing nominations in phase-V is February 4.

Notification for the sixth phase would be issued on February 2 and the last phase on February 6.

A total of 867 candidates are in the fray for 55 assembly seats for the first phase of elections where polling would be held on February 8.

A total of 1099 candidates are in the fray for 59 assembly seats in phase two polling where election would be held on February 11.

UP assembly elections would be held in seven phases between February 8 to March 3 and the counting of votes would be taken up on March 6.
