Udupi : Ramnagaram MP, JD-s state unit chief, and former CM, H.D. Kumaraswamy, touring Udupi for rural visits on the eve of a by poll to fill the seat vacated by BJP CM (MLC) D.V. Sadananda Gowda, and to set up JD-s local units to unite secular forces, made fun of BJP rule in the past 40 to 42 months, as wasted in empty propaganda or self-publicity of leaders, instead of proper state governance.

He laughed at BJP, for conducting a sympathetic wave among voting people for BJP, into inflicting injustice upon poor people, small farmers, and groups of minorities (Christians or Muslims), and added this was the only significant achievement that BJP could boast of since 2008.

He inaugurated a party rural visit programme, towards suffering people, to unite them in love of JD-D that cared for them, at the Bunts Bhawan in Padubidri, which is rocked by UPCL defilement of ecology.

HDK said BJP could not seek on the plank of development, because it was involved in fights and black money developments.

BJP created divisions between Hindus and minorities to win by –polls. Farmers were still committing suicides, after a famous new agricultural budget of corrupt ways.

He blasted congress for keeping mum on sindgi flag incident. Actress Pooja Gandhi spoke of why she had joined JD-S  and wanted to tour rural areas to serve people in the state. She asked local women to join JD-S.

Talking to press, HDK announced that JD-S would agitate against the UPCL thermal plant at Nandikur after visiting places affected by the fly –ash, and the problems created by UPCL against local people.

Shashidhar shetty and other farmers of Raitha Sangh presented a petition to HDK on the harm done by UPCL to many villages near Padubidri DP shetty presided.
