Mangalore: the DK police finally arrested 3 relative who had strangled to death Khateejamma (32), wife of Abbas. DK DSP Abhishek Goyal addressing a press meet on Feb.8, gave the names of culprits, as JM Abdul Azeez (24) his sisters Hseeda(20) and Asfana(19), who killed the deceased at Thanneeruoantha village in the Belthangady taluk.

The victim was missing since Jan 9, a month back from her Alikemane house in the same village. Husband Abbas had filed a complaint at Punjalkatte police station.

On Jan 31, Ananda Gowda led the police to the forest of Kombaru, due to rotten smell around local residents found a corpse in its decomposed state.

Azeez had come in a car to the victim’s house, with 2 robbery cases looking for him. He was in middle East and returned after 4 months.

He confessed about the crime committed for gold and money. All three culprits are in custody. Who caught Azeez is in police custody behind bars.
