Mangalore: MLA U. T. Khader inaugurated the convention organized by Sunni Students’ Federation (SSF) as a part of 1486th birthday of Prophet Mohammed on Feb 20 Monday.

A rally was held from Dr. Ambedkar Circle to Town Hall, the venue of the convention.

The convention was held with the intention of raising public awareness on the teachings of the prophet.

Abdur Rashid Zaini Kamil Saqafi, the president of SSF (South India), delivered the keynote address on the occasion.

Akshara Santa Harekala Hajabba was felicitated on the occasion.

G. M. M. Kamil Saqafi, the general secretary of the state Sunni Yuvajana Sangha, and M. Y. Haafil Sa’adi, the vice president of SSF and other SSF leaders participated in this event.
