Mangalore: Panambur police registered a case on Tuesday for road accident near Tannerbavi, around 7-40 PM on Monday(night), February 20.

A private city Service bus(2-C route) collided with a jeep head-on, with one dead and three critically injured in the bash at night.

The bus was on Tanneerbavi-Jokatte route, and its driver by reckless speedy driving went off control, to cause the mishap, passengers said.

The jeep was totally smashed. Driver Rohi(46), Vinuta, Sundar and Shafi of the Jeep were rushed to a nearby hospital in dangerous conditions. Rohi succumbed to his injuries around Monday midnight(Maha Shivaratri).
