Belman: Kukke Subramanya Seer VidyaPrasanna inaugurated the 50th (Golden Jubilee) annual celebrations of Punarukare School by opening a new building called Suvarna Soudha here, on Monday. He referred to rural children, who did not see TV, Internet, movies and mobile phones were rich in human values of helping others and greeting them politely. He asked parments of such kids to be proud of them, as they were equally merited and such kids to be proud of them as they were equally merited and capable like city breeds.

The rural kids spoke a grammatically correct language, whether Kannada or Tulu or English the seer appreciated.

Several present/retired teachers, donors and old students of the school, were felted on the occasion. Kodimaru Vittala Thanthri Presided on the special occasion. Several local personalities were present as chief guests.

Vasanthi bai head ministries, welcomed the gathering Devadas Patkar, a teacher, read the report. Pilar Sudhakar Shenoy conducted the proceedings and thanked all.
