Veronica takes on Raghupathi Bhat in Udupi by poll Campaign

Udupi: After nominations, it is time for making charge under the blame game, to catch votes.

Congress local leader Veronica C. of district women’s cell told media persons here on February 29 in response to Udupi BJP MLA Raghupathi Bhat needless complaints against Congress earlier, on February 28 that women in Udupi district were fed up of BJP’s anti-women polices.

They had gathered in large numbers at J. Hedge’s nomination on February 27, but Bhat was unnecessarily telling from house tops that women from Navoday and other self-help groups were forced to attend the event of Hegde filling his nomination papers with returning officer DC Dr M.T. Reju.

Veronica questioned Bhat’s sudden concern for Udupi for Women when he did not bother ever about them, when atrocities were committed by BJP men ever since they (BJP) they came to Power.

Bhat had defended St. Mary’s tourist Rave Party deteriorating into Rape Parties in the open and did not care for Porn Viewing episodes in the assembly by BJP MLAs.

It clearly showed that BJP had no consideration towards women and would be voted out.

This was a cause for worry with local BJP leaders and MLA Veronica referred to Bhat wife Padmapriya death case still remaining unsolved in years.

The background was sealed by BJP, which threw stones at others while living in a glass houses in Udupi all the while.
