Bangalore: Film director-actor S. Mahendar quietly married a relative, Yashoda who has a post-graduate qualification in Economics. Both married on February 3 in Mysore  without a fanfare. For SM it is second marriage, as he has divorced actress Shruthi who has also re-married now.

The house in Basaveshwara Nagar was in the joint names of the divorced couple. But Shruthi stays there even now. She is reported to have paid Rs45 lakhs to ex-husband S. Mahendar to buy the house for herself.

Whether it is Rs45 lakhs or 48 lakhs, the amount seems to be heavy, with love from his ex-flame, to the director on the decline.
