Kundapura: The Alva’s Nudisiri arts team members recently organised a show at local Canara Nursing College grounds at Koteshwara, when Dr. M. Mohan Alva inaugurated the event by beating a local drum.

For about 210 minutes, students of the well trained Alva’s troupe about performed in several staged programmes as artistes.

Yakshagana, Kamsaale, Veeragaase, and other dance forms of state such as Bharatanatyam, and even West Bengal’s Purulia dance numbers, Andhra’s Banjara (roaming people) dance, Kerala’s Mohiniyattam-Kathak-martial arts, Karnataka’s  stick dance and a national award-winning play ‘Ekadashanana’ (11 faced person) mimicry and other programmes were presented in an absorbing evening enjoyed by thousand of viewers.

Nudisiri Kundapur chairman Basrur Appanna Hegde and many other local dignitaries participated in the thrilling event of several programmes.
