Mangalore: The writer and journalist will celebrate his 77th birthday Aloysius P. U. College auditorium on March 11 Sunday.

Speaking at the press meet held at Hotel Woodlands Hall on March 9, Friday Gauri Lankesh, the editor of Lankesh Patrike, said that birthday celebration will include various talks and discussions.

Devanooru Mahadeva will inaugurate the event and Suresh Bhat Baakrabailu will release the book Panchali.

Rathabeedi Geleyaru of Udupi will perform a play titled Mistake, written by Sadath Hassan Manto.

Gauri Lankesh, Ismat Phajeer, Parvateesha, and Doddipalya Narasimhamoorthy were also present.
