Moodbidri: German philosopher Hans Peter-Durr, a physicist and alternate Nobel Prize Winner, arrived in Alva’s Campus on Sunday(March11), to give a lecture to students, on Science and philosophy.

He was informed of the various activities being pursued by students, and nurtured by the teaching staff, and appreciated the facilities available at the campus and developments achieved in social educational services, sports/culture/literary programmes conducted there.

Dr. B.M. Hegde, a former Vice-Chancellor of Manipal University, introduced the distinguished Visitor to the audience.

Prof. Kurian(Alva’s PU College principal), Trustee Vivek Alva, Lucknow University V.C, Ms. Choodamani Gopal, Jayarama Shetty, administrator Ms. Smitha P. Aithal, among others were present on the occasion. Lecturer Ms. Deepa Kottary conducted the rare event.
