Bangalore: Blessed are the drunken drivers, a new Bible may say, for they can snatch innocent lives and go to hell themselves.

A construction worker, Nagaraj (22), who was sleeping on a foot path (Probably after drinks in a tight condition) near a house under construction in Kalyana Nagar’s HRBR Lay-out in city where he and some others worked was over run by a vehicle that killed him on Monday night.

The driver of the car and her companion were both drunk when SUV moved over him 3 others, also from Raichur district like Nagaraj, were also injured and taken to a hospital.

Nagaraj was rush to Bowring hospital at midnight but died.

The woman and her companion fled the scene after dragging the sleeping workers under their car.

Nagaraj is married but his wife was in Devadurg, Raichur district far away having a baby boy (4 days old).

The car was seized by the police but the killers both drunk were absconding. The Toyota Fortuner (Vehicle) belonged to a third party who had lent it to the gay couple involved in the footpath run-over.
