Bangalore: The Lokayukta police personnel on Friday conducted raids on the residences of a lady corporator and her relatives, to Unearth illegal assets worth Rs1.29crores.

The BBMP Corporator N. Shanthakumari was from Moodalapalya. A Complaint against her, alleged that she misused power as Mahanagar corporator and amassed illegal wealth a Lokayukta statement informed.

750 grams of gold (Rs 17Lakh0, 3 Kgs. Silver(Rs1.60lakhs), and 20 lakh rupees in cash currency, besides valuables and certain property documents on 5 sites, were sized, amounting to Rs1.30crores. There were 17 bank passbooks of different bank units.
