Mangalore: If the teachers motivated their students to be creative in thought and action, and innovative in academic and research matters, India can become a Super power in 2020, opined the Registrar Dr. S.A. Kori of V T University of Belgaum.

He was addressing teachers and students at the annual Day celebrations of Shree Devi Institute of Technology of Kenjaru, on Saturday in the function held at Loyola Hall, SAC, in city.

A Raghavendra Rao of Srinivasa Group of Colleges, in city presided. Dr. K.E. Prakash, principal, presented the academic and sports report of his college.

SDIF chairman A. Sadananda Shetty, Vice-Chairman Nidhish, Secretary Maina, Priyanka Shetty, Dr. B.R. Samaga, and Jagdish were present. Students presented a cultural programme at the end.
