Udupi: Three nomination papers have been submitted on March 28, the last date to receive such papers, for the Udupi, district unit of KSP Chairmanship from 3 separate candidates.

Precious General Secretary T.Vikramarjuna Hegde’s papers were supported by the immediate past chairman of Udupi KSP, Ambatanay Mudradi, treasurer Bhavan Prasad Hegde, Prof. Heranje Krishna Bhat and Many others.

Prof. Upendra Somayaji, retired professor of Kundapura Bhandarkar’s College, and N. Surendra Adiga, a resource person for many workshops, with their supporters separately field their own nomination papers before the retuning officer on Tuesday.

The voting and rebults are due in April next. Dr. Nallur R.K. Prasad is the outgoing president of KSP which has its officers in Chamarajpet, Bangalore4.
