Mangalore: A three-day Ramotsava programme has been arranged with Seetha-Rama installation (of images) at the Central Maidan in a decorated pandal by Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, and a Ramotsava Committee’s volunteers.
The event begun on Saturday(March31), ends on April 2 with a cracker-bursting happy event of killing Ravana in Public.
A yoga (fire sacrificial event) and hoisting of Hindu flag were conducted on this morning(Saturday).
Rotary governor Dr. Devdas Rai hoisted the ochre flag, and wished the programme a full success from devotees. He promised to support such cultural programmes, with music and faith.
Several Hindu leaders and organisers participated along with Committee chief Pushparaj Jain, an secretary Gopal Kuthar in the inaugural event.
