Mangalore : DK and Udupi District Backward Classes Federation felicitated S. Ramesh, the chairman of the Mangalore Urban Development Corporation (MUDA), Damodar Suvarna Auditorium on April 8 Sunday.

After receiving the felicitation, he said that Japan’s rejuvenation after World War II has set a good example for the development of the backward communities.

He also said that community leaders must encourage micro economic models for development. The development of backward communities in the recent is appreciated, he added.

Sadashiva Shettigar of the Udupi fire station was also felicitated on this occasion.
