Sullia: CM and family on arrival visited Vishnumurthy temple near helipad in Sullia. The spirits of Mandekolu and Devaragunda home of CM DVS Gowda assured him of all protection in view his full faith in them , and told him that they would never let him down.
They were at his back, and no one can bring harm to his socio- political positions of power, the spirits told him.
He was accompanied by Datty, his wife, and other relatives on the occasion.
On Monday as also Tuesday, DVS Gowda’s homeground of Bellippady Devaragunda Family house was in full decorations, to perform Nemotsava rites Conducted annually.
CM participated in all religious activities as a devotee.
Panjurli, Hulibhoota, Rudra Chamundi, Korathi Daiva, Guliga and other traditional spirits were served, and they in turn blessed DVS Gowda and clan people, by giving Prasad offerings in blessings.
Gowda said he prayed for state people and deliverance from droughts in state as a whole.
CM arrived on Monday afternoon and returned to Bangalore with mother on Tuesday afternoon, by helicopter.
