Mangalore : The twin districts launched the second round of pulse polio drive on April 15 Sunday and it will continue till April 18.
DK has set up around 921 booths to give polio drops to children below five.
The district health officer (DHO) for DK O. Shrirangappa, said that this drive will mainly focus migrant labourers children present in DK.
He said there are around 431 children of migrant labourers, out of which 287 are in Mangalore Rural and 200 are in Bantwal.
He urged parents of children below 5 to take their children to the booths and get them immunized against polio.
